The Pink Edition is more than nostalgia for me, it carries meaning. With every frame I'm reminded that I backed something larger than myself.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month is the reason the Retropia® Pink Edition Lens exists.
A tenth of each purchase goes to the Susan G. Komen Foundation, a widely known organization at the forefront of the battle against breast cancer.
When you pick the Pink Edition, you're not just capturing memories. You're supporting a cause that helps save lives.
Retropia pulls the genuine lens element out of a single-use film camera and rebuilds it so it fits your digital body. There is no filter and no simulation here. You get a real piece of glass that delivers soft focus, vignetting, flare and chromatic quirks, the traits that gave throwaway film shots their feel.
An everyday lens for anything worth shooting. Slip it on, point, shoot.

Take 100 days to shoot with it. Should it not suit you, return it. No stress, no questions asked, no catch.
Is this actually going to change how my photos look, or is it subtle?
It's noticeable. The lens produces real optical effects the moment light hits it: soft focus, vignetting, chromatic imperfections, flares. You'll see it on the back of your camera before you've edited a single frame. It isn't a filter you squint at. It's character, straight out of camera.
Is this just a filter or a preset in a different form?
No. It's a real optical lens. The actual glass element from a disposable film camera, repurposed to mount on your mirrorless body. Presets change pixels after the shot. The Retropia lens shapes the light before it ever reaches your sensor. That's why the look feels real, not applied.
Why not just use editing software to get this look?
Software can replicate color. It can't replicate optics. The way light bends through cheap disposable-camera glass, the softness at the edges, the way highlights bloom, the way a flare catches. That's physical. It happens in the lens, not on a slider. Presets get you close on color. The lens is the other half of the equation.
Is it worth the price, or will I regret this?
Less than a preset pack. More character than a $500 vintage lens. If it doesn't live up to what we've shown you, you have 100 days to return it. No questions, no rush. We'd rather you try it and hate it than never try it at all.
Is this a one-trick lens, or will I actually keep using it?
Most of our customers tell us the same thing. It lives in their bag. Street, travel, portraits, nights out, daily life. It isn't a studio lens and it isn't trying to be. It's for the shots where you want feeling, not sharpness. For technical work, keep your main glass. For everything else, this is the one that makes photos feel alive.
Will the lens work with my camera?
It's built for Sony E, Fujifilm X, Canon RF, Canon EF-M, Canon EF/EF-S, Nikon Z, Nikon F, Micro Four Thirds, L-Mount, L39, and Leica M. Choose your mount at checkout. If you're unsure, check the "Which mount should I choose?" section further up the page.
How easy is it to actually use?
Attach it. Switch on "shoot without lens" in your camera menu (you only set this once). Then shoot. The aperture is fixed and focus sits at infinity, so anything past 1.5m comes out sharp. You won't need batteries, adjustments or an app. A mirrorless body can't get much nearer to a point-and-shoot than this.
Do I need the presets too, or is the lens enough on its own?
The lens handles the optics: the softness, the flares, the vignettes. That's the look, in-camera. The presets handle color: the warm tones, the faded shadows, the grain of classic film stocks. One gets you halfway. Together, it's the full film feeling. We include them free with every lens for that reason.
My camera won't fire with the lens attached. What do I do?
Go into your camera menu and enable "Shoot without lens" or "Release without lens." This tells the camera to let the shutter fire even without electronic contacts, which manual lenses like ours don't have. Every major mirrorless camera has this setting, usually under Custom Settings or Shooting Menu.
What if I don't like it?
You have 100 days to shoot with it. If it isn't for you, reach out and we'll sort it. Refund, swap, whatever makes it right. No interrogation, no restocking runaround.
